Schaefer's Farm Market is committed to producing the finest homegrown produce & flowers, along with a wide selection of home-produced jams, jellies, fruit butters, honey, eggs, and more. We grow over 50 types of vegetables, fruits, and herbs on our farm using only sustainable growing practices, including good crop rotations and use of cover crops. All our produce is free from GMO's, pesticides, and other synthetic chemicals.
We are a sixth-generation farm family that takes pride in the great tasting, high quality produce that we serve to our customers on a year-round basis. We start all our plants from seed to plant our nearly 30 acres of produce. Five greenhouses and high tunnels are used for seed starting and production of year-round crops.
The produce is picked fresh daily for our on-site retail market, CSA, and the Farmers' Markets we attend.
In the springtime, come pick-your-own strawberries! Visit our home page or follow us on Facebook for updates on when the patch will be open for picking. Over 20,000 plants will begin producing fruit around Mother’s Day. Berry season is short – don’t miss out!
All spring hanging baskets, planters, bedding plants, herb plants, and vegetable plants are grown on our farm in the spring months. Visit our retail greenhouse and shop thousands of high-quality, affordable plants.
The selection of pumpkins, mums, and other fall décor items we have to offer is bigger than any other market around, with over 6000 mums and over 200,000 pumpkins and gourds! Want to pick your own pumpkin? Visit our agritourism page to learn about Uncle Everett’s Pumpkin Patch!
Keep us in mind throughout the holiday season, too! Get your fresh thanksgiving turkey, homemade pie, apple cider, and all your produce in just one stop. For Christmas, don’t miss out on our huge selection of homemade cookies, candies, pies, breads, and other homemade treats. Also check out our well-known selection of jams, jellies, fruit butters, pickles, salsa, relishes & BBQ sauce – they make great gifts!
